Competition: Win tickets to Solid Gold 70s Show
An evening of retro indulgence ranging from glam to disco is coming to West Yorkshire.
The Solid Gold 70s Show at Bradford’s St George’s Hall will feature live cover performances of hits from the likes of Sweet, T Rex, Queen, Elton John, 10CC, David Essex, Suzi Quarto, David Cassidy, ELO, The Carpenters, Osmond’s, Bay City Rollers and ABBA.
Producer Michael Taylor, whose other shows include Magic of Motown and Thank You for the Music, said: “If, like me, you have fond memories of Pans People and Eurovision, Luke Skywalker and Saturday Night Fever, Danny and Sandy, and Dastardly and Muttley, this is the show for you.
“With the cast bursting into the spotlight like an explosion-in-a-paintshop, we guarantee theatregoers the most colourful, top of the pops time of their lives.”
Michael promised a solid standard from the show’s backing band, who have performances with Mike Oldfield, Asia and Ultravox under their belts.
And the Reporter Series has a pair of tickets to give away to one lucky reader.
