Joel Gibson is four star as promotion contenders Celtic return to winning ways
Dewsbury Celtic got their promotion bid back in motion when they returned to winning ways in Division One of the National League.
Second-placed Celtic notched a first win in four outings with a 52-0 triumph over a Stanningley outfit that has lost four of its last five fixtures and which is now too close to the relegation zone for comfort.
Impressive former Thornhill Trojans star Joel Gibson led the scoring with four tries, although Celtic, who led 40-0 at the break, were denied any further tries until five minutes from time after they eased off following a blistering first 40 minutes had the points sewn up.
Jordan Hirst chipped in with a try and eight goals and there were also touchdowns for Alex Wighton, Casey Canterbury, Dylan Kinderlaw and Drew Judge-Clarke as the double was completed following a 22-18 verdict in the league earlier in the season in west Leeds.

Celtic, who travel to Oulton Raiders this Saturday, stayed within a point of leaders Kells and are five points ahead of third-placed Dewsbury Moor Maroons, who do have two games in hand.
The Maroons were without a game last weekend, but are due to return to action at Stanningley on Saturday.
Shaw Cross Sharks were not in action either and play their next Division One game away to Egremont Rangers this weekend. They go into the match in eighth place and take on opponents two places higher.
