Physio cleared of dishonesty
The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) held a four day conduct and competence review into Alma M Brambles in London last month.
The allegations were related to Ms Brambles’ work as a team leader within Dewsbury and District Hospital’s Child Development Centre.

Hide AdThey included failing to adequately supervise a colleague and ignoring concerns about the worker’s poor record keeping.
The HCPC also heard allegations that Ms Brambles’ poor management put children at risk.
The 59-year-old was also accused of making inappropriate remarks about members of staff and the disciplinary investigation.
Ms Brambles was cleared of all the substantive charges, but she admitted she did not ensure a colleague participated in external supervision.
The review panel did not put any sanctions in place.

Hide AdIt concluded “as there are no findings of fact against the registrant, the Panel has concluded that the case is not well founded and that it is closed. “
Ms Brambles no longer works for the Mid Yorkshire Hospital Trust.
