Man critical in hospital after Mirfield motorcycle crash

A 25-year-old man is in hospital with serious head and chest injuries after a motorcyle crash in Mirfield.

At about 8pm on Monday, August 10, the man was riding a black Honda MTX bike along Calder Road, towards the junction with Chadwick Fold Lane/Calder View when he left the road and collided with a wall.

He was taken to hospital and remains there in a critical, but stable condition.

Anyone who saw the collision or the circumstances leading up to it, is asked to contact PC 576 Taylor at the Safer Roads and Neighbourhood Support team on 101, quoting *1427 of 10/8.
