Half of first floor involved in Tapps blaze
Firefighters from three different stations came to tackle a blaze at former pub in Dewsbury town centre.
Crews from Dewsbury and Batley, as well as an arial platform from Wakefield, battled a fire at the old Tapps pub in Bradford Road.
Smoke bellowed from the building just after 4pm, Saturday April 4, and a fire investigation officer visited the scene.
The building is now made up of shops on the ground floor and flats above, where 50 per cent of the first floor was involved.
