Jackson brothers on the podium as they celebrate swimming success for Batley

Brothers Daniel Jackson and Samuel Jackson, from Gomersal, were on the podium for all four of their swims.

Eight-year-old Daniel, swimming in the age 9-10 heats, won the gold medal in his four races, the front crawl, back crawl, breast stroke and butterfly.

Batley coaches are waiting to hear if he has broken age related records on the way.

Six-year-old Sam, swimming in the age 7-8 heats, won the gold medal in back crawl and silver medals in the front crawl, breast stroke and butterfly.

Shyla Velasquez-Fox, age 7-8 heats for front crawl, back crawl and breaststroke, Ruby Knight, age 9-10 heats for front crawl, back crawl and breaststroke, Max Hemming, age 9-10 heats for front crawl, back crawl and breaststroke and - Emilia Hartley, age 7-8 heats for back crawl and breaststroke also competed for the club and posted fabulous results, winning more medals, but Batley are still awaiting all of the official times and rankings for these events.
