Record breaking Littletown beat Howden Clough to lift Wheatley Cup again
Littletown FC were celebrating after winning the Wheatley Cup for a record 11th time.
Up against local rivals Howden Clough in the final, they proved too good for their opponents from two divisions below in the West Yorkshire League as they ran out 3-0 winners.
Clough were resolute and still in the game at the hour mark when it remained goalless.
But when Ollie Bellwood rounded the keeper and finished well for Littletown the writing was on the wall and Adam Williams added a second with a fantastic whipped finish.

They put the seal on victory as Tom Ramsden lobbed the ball over the keeper to make it 3-0.
Robbie Thompson was outstanding and voted man of the match.
Littletown were quickly back in action in the league and won 3-1 against Ripon in the Premier with goals from Tom Ramsden (two) and Thompson.
Howden Clough suffered more disappointment to add to their final loss as their promotion hopes from Division Two suffered a big blow when they went down 3-1 at home to Aberford Albion with Jake Weatherhead putting them ahead in the first half only for the visitors to fight back after the break.
The defeat left them in fifth, 14 points behind leaders Overthorpe Sports Club, but with games in hand that could still see them finish in the top three.
