Breakthrough act making Waves in Leeds

One of the breakthrough music acts of the year, Circa Waves, have announced an extra date on their forthcoming UK headline tour and it will be the band’s biggest to date, at Leeds’ O2 Academy this autumn.

The band’s next tour, which includes an appearance at London’s prestigious Brixton Academy, follows on from their recent sold-out headline UK tour, which culminated in a breathtaking gig at Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

Circa Waves also release a new single, live favourite Stuck In My Teeth, on Monday. June 8 on Virgin.

Taken from their recent top 10 debut album, Young Chasers, which was released in March, the single - B-listed at Radio 1 - is accompanied by a video shot in Austin, Texas following their appearance at this year’s SXSW Festival.

Having just returned from a European headline tour, the band are set for a busy summer playing festivals around the globe, including appearances at Leeds and Reading, Glastonbury and T in the Park in the UK, Splendour In The Grass in Australia and Lollapalooza in the US.
