Nash took full advantage of leaders Old Bank WMC not being in league action as Elliott Williams and Joe Lyttle both struck hat-tricks to see them close on their rivals.

Hanging Heaton Cricket Club recorded an emphatic 8-0 victory over Batley Celtics to maintain the pressure on Division One leaders The Yorkshireman.

Tom Ramsden continued his fine scoring run as he scored Heaton’s first five goals last Sunday.

James Keen placed two impressive free-kicks into the top corner, while Tom Secker was the other scorer as Heaton remain in second place.

The Yorkshireman remain top of the first division after they edged out Battyeford in a 3-2 win.

Battyeford stay in third place, five points behind Haning Heaton with two games in hand, one of which is the return clash at home to The Yorkshireman this Sunday.
