Lorgat double as Mount promoted
Mount Pleasant have secured the final promotion spot in Heavy Woollen Sunday League Division Three with a 4-1 success at home to Moorlands CC.
Raees Lorgat (two), Suleman Laher and Nadem Seedat scored while Moorlands CC replied through Danish Khalid.
Battyeford Reserves are champions with White Horse second. Mount moved up to third place following Queens Hotel’s 3-3 draw at Overthorpe Town Reserves.
Ryan Burton, Mark Wigley and Ricky Naylor scored for Queens, but strikes from Sean Carney (two) and Sean Hodgson ensured the spoils were shared and Queens miss out on the final promotion spot.
