Jordan Rhodes completed a hat-trick as Blackburn Rovers inflicted a 4-2 defeat on Huddersfield Town.

Rhodes, who left the Terriers for Rovers in August 2012, came back to haunt the hosts, putting Rovers ahead with only four minutes gone.

Adam Hammill levelled for Town but Rhodes’ second-half header and Craig Conway’s strike on 65 minutes gave Rovers a 3-1 lead.

Nahki Wells reduced the arrears six minutes later but Rhodes secured the points with his 20th goal of the season nine minutes from time.
