If you’ve got it, haunt it: Iconic Dewsbury Arcade to host free family fun Halloween event

Families and visitors of all ages are invited to step into a realm of magic at the historic building’s If You’ve Got It, Haunt It extravaganza on Saturday, October 31, from 10am to 4pm.

The iconic shopping arcade will transform into a spooky hub of family-friendly fun, interactive games and live music performances.

There will be a chance to meet the Arcade Witches, Hubble and Bubble, who will be leading spell-binding storytime sessions, teaching magical spell-casting to budding wizards and witches, as well as running Halloween-themed games throughout the day.

There will also be a Trick or Treat Trail where families can pick up a trail map on arrival and collect sweet treats as they explore and discover the independent shops inside The Arcade.

A spokesperson for The Arcade said: “We’re thrilled to bring the community together for a fun, free celebration.

“Whether you’re exploring our independent shops, enjoying live music, or taking part in the Trick or Treat trail, it’s set to be a fantastic day out for all ghouls and goblins.”
