Sykes and Hooper weigh-in for English title fight
Dewsbury’s Gary Sykes and Grimsby’s Kevin Hooper have both weighed in exactly the same for tomorrow’s English super featherweight title fight in Cleethorpes.
The pair both tipped the scales at 9st 3lb 12 oz - inside the 9st 4lb limit.
Tomorrow will be the first time Hooper has fought at super featherweight and Sykes is confident of ending the home man’s 13-fight unbeaten run and bringing the English title back to Dewsbury.
See tomorrow’s Dewsbury Reporter for the big fight preview and next week for full coverage from ringside at Cleethorpes.
