Esposito signed from York City Knights but having missed part of the pre-season programme, including the Boxing Day clash at Batley, he failed to earn a place in Glenn Morrison’s squad.

Meanwhile Elliott Cosgrove has joined Keighley Cougars on a one month loan and goes straight into their squad for tonight’s (Thursday) televised clash with Featherstone Rovers.

Cosgrove remains a major of Dewsbury’s plans for the future but has been struggling to feature in the squad due to the intense competition for places.

Morrison jumped at the chance to offer Cosgrove the chance to build up his match fitness and the Cougars have endured a string of injuries and needed to bolster their squad.

Cosgrove will not be available for Keighley when they meet Dewsbury at Tetley’s Stadium on March 24.
