Clarets give Huddersfield Town a New Year’s Day headache
Huddersfield Town boss Mark Robins admitted that his team were second best as they suffered a 3-2 New Year’s Day defeat at Championship promotion chasers Burnley.
Danny Ings gave the Clarets a seventh-minute lead only for Martin Paterson to level against his former club midway through the first half.
Ings restored the hosts’ lead before the break and Kieran Trippier made it 3-1 with 10 minutes remaining.
