Training Cave invested in a portable boxing ring during lockdown and will set it up in Wilton Park for youngsters to try out the sport.

The sessions will be held on May 22 and 23 and May 29 and 30. Sessions for children aged six to 11 will be held from noon to 1.30pm, with 12-18-year-olds from 1.30pm to 3pm. Punch bags will be attached to the ring and gloves, pads and other equipment will be provided.

A handful of coaches will be present to teach the basic skills of boxing and fitness, encouraging youngsters to channel their energies in the right way.

These sessions will provide an opportunity for young people of all backgrounds to come together, learn new skills, become physically active and build relationships.

Training Cave was founded by Jack in 2017 and became a social enterprise in 2019.
