The Arcade Dewsbury announces second tenant open day ahead of September's grand re-opening
The Arcade Dewsbury has announced a second prospective tenants open day to fill the last remaining units ahead of its grand re-opening later this year.
As the major restoration of Dewsbury’s iconic Grade II listed Victorian shopping arcade nears completion, The Arcade is making a final callout to local entrepreneurs, artisans and independent business owners interested in being part of the project.
The team is particularly keen to hear from baristas, bakers, independent makers and specialty retailers looking to secure a space alongside the growing line-up of confirmed tenants.
The drop-in event will run on Saturday, August 1, from 10am until 3pm at The Arcade.

Attendees will have the opportunity to get an exclusive look at the final stages of the restoration before the official opening on September 5.
There will also be the chance to meet the project team to discuss the last available units and flexible leasing options, as well as learn about the long-term vision and marketing plans for The Arcade as a hub for independent retail, food and culture.
Jenny Holden-Stokes, The Arcade manager, said: “Our first open day generated brilliant interest, and we’ve already welcomed some fantastic independent businesses to our Arcade family.
“With restoration nearly complete and our grand re-opening set for Saturday, September 5, this second open day is the last chance for local business owners to take that next step and be part of Dewsbury’s future from day one.”
