Celebrate Black History Month at Bagshaw Museum
Visitors will have the chance to step back in time and view shields from the mighty Zulu warriors, as well as Hausa leatherwork and rhinoceros hides, in the Wilton Park museum throughout October.
There will also be examples of shields and swords from the Sudan, African art and costume, and macabre souvenirs like a necklace taken from a dead Dervish soldier, who were renowned for their resistance against Britain and Italy.
