The show will visit St George’s Hall, Bradford, on Thursday, April 25 before moving on to Wakefield’s Theatre Royal on April 27.

A three-man comedy troupe, the “other RSC” have put on shows at London’s West End and are specialists in cutting down long, serious topics into short and snappy comedy productions.

They have created eight stage shows, as well as two TV specials and a number of radio productions across the world.

The company’s first three shows, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged), The Complete History of America (abridged) and The Bible: The Complete Word of God (abridged) enjoyed a nine-year run at the Criterion Theatre in Piccadilly Circis to make them London’s longest-running comedies.

Tickets for the latest production cost £15-£18 and are available by calling 01274 432000 (Bradford) or 01924 211311 (Wakefield).

The show will also be visiting Leeds in June.
