Breaking news: M1 delays warning after vehicle crashes into traffic lights
MOTORISTS are being advised to avoid junction 41 of the M1 after a crash.
Traffic lights at the Carr Gate junction near East Ardsley are out of action after a vehicle crashed into the traffic signal controller.
Highways Agency engineers are currently at the site trying to fix the problem, which is affecting the lights on the roundabout and the slip roads.
However, motorists are advised to avoid this junction as delays are possible.
The lights wouldn’t be fixed until tomorrow (Friday) at the earliest, a spokesman said.
