B&Q to close stores
DIY giant B&Q is planning to close about 60 of its stores but would not confirm if any of them would be in our area.
The chain has stores in Dewsbury, Wakefield, Beeston, Castleford and near the M606 in Bradford.
A spokeswoman for the firm, which is owned by Kingfisher, said information on which stores would be affected by the cuts was not yet available.
