The nostalgic images capture daily life at schools around Yorkshire during the 90s, when Pogs, Tamagotchis and slap bracelets were among the biggest playground crazes.
Much-loved teachers and headteachers are pictured with their pupils in the classroom, at play and out in the community.
Schoolchildren are shown carrying out experiments in their lab coats, queueing for dinner in the canteen, showing off their artwork and taking the plunge in the pool.
Celebrity visitors include soap stars, one of whom is pictured returning to her old school, and even the Queen.
There are fond farewells for long-serving headteachers, and celebrations for two much-loved members of the school community who were named teacher and cook of the year.
The pictures include a lost school with a design so futuristic the building took its nickname from the spaceship in a famous sci-fi show.
If one photo more than any other in this retro gallery shows how school has changed since the early 90s, it is that of a whole class gathered around a single bulky grey computer for an IT lesson, long before tablets became commonplace.
What are your best memories of school in the 90s, and can you spot yourself, an old school friend or a much-loved teacher in this retro photo gallery?
