These are the sobering Covid-19 death totals in cities across the UK

The coronavirus has impacted areas across the UK to varying degrees in terms of case numbers, patients and deaths. This is how the key cities across England have been affected by the virus

The following data is available from the Office for National Statistics and refers to deaths from coronavirus between 1 March 2020 and 31 May 2020.

5. Liverpool

Lierpool had a total of 550 deaths from Covid-19 between 1 March and 31 May. Aigburth and Grassendale was the hardest hit, with 30 deaths, whereas Pier Head reported zero Photo: Shutterstock

Leeds reported a total of 647 deaths from Covid-19 between 1 March and 31 May. Colton, Austhorpe and Whitkirk reported 32 deaths, whereas Bramley Fall and Swarcliffe reported none Photo: Shutterstock
