Scottish three-piece Fatherson have announced details of their biggest UK tour to date and will include a show in Leeds next month.
The rising stars recently released the first single from their second album, due this year, with ‘Always’ immediately made Huw Stephens’ Track of the Week on Radio 1.
The band have just come off the back of a tour with Prides, which saw them pick up new fans all over the country and the new dates take them to many towns and cities they have never headlined before.
Fatherson will be in Leeds, appearing at Brudenell Social club on Wednesday, February 24.
‘Always’, meanwhile, is the first new material since their self-released debut album ‘I am An Island’ came out in early 2014. Since then the band have played with the likes of Idlewild, Frightened Rabbit and Twin Atlantic and performed at many festivals including T in the Park and The Great Escape.
Their last record was nominated for the Scottish Album of the Year and went in the top 10 of the Scottish charts.
Fatherson are: Ross Leighton (guitar/vocals), Marc Strain (bass) and Greg Walkinshaw (drums).
