Yorkshire Centre Auto Cycle Union award winners

THE Yorkshire Centre Auto Cycle Union staged their awards evening at the Healds Hall Hotel in Liversedge.

Julian Ford was formally elected as the new president, taking over from Bumpy Trials Club manager Carolyne Kenzitt.

After a meal and a speech by Stuart Feeny, managing director of Colin Appleyard Motorcycles, the awards were presented by Carolyne to winners of all ages from trials, enduro and road racing.

A raffle, with prizes donated by local companies and individuals, raised around £100 for charity while a disco rounded off a great night enjoyed by all who attended.

Trials.

Phil Disney (expert)

Joel Sadler (intermediate)

Thomas Housecroft (B Class)

Sam Johnson (C Class)

Yeadon & Guiseley (best trials club)

Dan Thorpe (best expert in centre nationals).

Will Reynolds (best intermediate in centre nationals).

Richard Sadler (best novice in centre nationals).

Enduro:

Jim Wright (championship class)

Daniel Hodgekinson (expert class)

Darren Almack (sportsman class)

Road Racing:

Sam Ludgate (best centre resident road racer and clubman competitor).

Centre Awards:

Jack Challoner (best all rounder under 21).

Chloe Richardson (best all rounder under 17).

Ben Hemingway (best Yorkshire centre rider in Scottish Six Days Trial).

John Hillam (Tom Ellis Trophy expert).
