Wrenthorpe face trip across Pennines in Heavy Woollen Cup

WRENTHORPE will face a trip to Oldham side Delph and Dobcross in the quarter-finals of the Heavy Woollen Cup.

The Wrens had a convincing six wicket win over Bradford League champions Woodlands last Sunday and now face Huddersfield League side Delph in a tie which must be played on or before July 1.

Hanging Heaton’s reward for overcoming Shelley last Sunday is a home quarter-final against Golcar.

Spen Victoria, who knocked Barnsley out on the toss of a coin after rain washed out a potential Twenty20 game last Thursday, host holders Shepley in the last eight.

There is a cracking derby in the other quarter-final, with Methley hosting Townville, who knocked CYL Division One side Liversedge out last Sunday.
