It is expected that Warrington will come into the ring around 9.30pm tomorrow.

Dewsbury’s Tony Aitcheson makes his comeback on the undercard and he was at Leeds town hall to support his Central Boxing Club stablemate at today’s weigh in.

Aitcheson will not weigh-in for his clash against Nathan Capeness until tomorrow night.

Over 150 fans from Dewsbury are expected to travel to Leeds in support of Aitcheson, who is raring to go ahead of his first fight in almost four years.

Newly crowned English super featherweight champion Gary Sykes was also at the weigh in and he will be ringside tomorrow, where he is sure to have a keen interest on another of the undercard fights, involving Manchester’s Jonny Kays.

If Kays comes through against Abdul Rashid, he will meet Sykes for the English title on the undercard to Amir Khan’s bout in Sheffield on April 27.

See tomorrow’s Dewsbury Reporter for the full story of Sykes’s fight on the Khan bill.
