Terrace plans ready to begin
DEWSBURY Rams are pressing on with plans to transform the Owl Lane end of Tetley’s Stadium into a terrace.
Several long-standing supporters, including Graham Beaumont, have put a project in place, and he said: “We’ve submitted all that’s required and we’re just waiting for the green light to commence work. A pathway around the pitch is complete and we have funding in place for us to complete 60 per cent of the project and we’re hopeful of getting other individuals and local businesses on board.”
The cost of the terrace is estimated at £4,000 per step and a fundraising event will be held on January 18.
