Stalwart Nat salutes champions
Hanging Heaton’s Nat Lawrence has been a stalwart of the competition for a good number of years and he was on hand to present the awards to 2013 winners Hoylandswaine.
The Huddersfield League side won the Black Sheep Trophy for the first time, defeating York Senior League’s Woodhouse Grange by 35 runs at Wrenthorpe.

Hide AdNat presented the trophy to Hoylandswaine captain and one time Hanging Heaton batsman John Sadler.
The winners also included ex-Hanging Heaton players Alex Morris, Bandula Don, Alan Mynett and Ammar Rashid in their side.
Hanging Heaton batsman Gary Fellows was man-of-the-match adjudicator and gave the award to Michael Cranmer for his unbeaten 71.
Although Hoylandswaine can not win the Huddersfield Leaue title this season, they will defend their Yorkshire champions crown.
Bradford League champions Cleckheaton will enter the competition for the first time next season and will be joined by Central Yorkshire League champions Townville.
