Slideshow: Cleckheaton hosts All England Bowls Finals
More than a thousand spectators from across the UK descended on Cleckheaton Sports Club for the prestigious All England Bowls Finals last Saturday.
Bowls fans who attended the finals basked in the glorious sunshine and were treated to an enthralling day of bowls, with the country’s top 64 bowlers in action.
British Crown Green Bowling chief executive John Crowther praised Cleckheaton’s efforts for the way they hosted the event, regarded as the pinnacle of the bowling season.
