Shaw Cross Sharks arrange friendly after receiving walkover in Challenge Cup
SHAW Cross Sharks have arranged a friendly at home to National Conference Premier Division side West Hull for Saturday (kick-off 2pm).
The Sharks scheduled Challenge Cup opponents Valley Cougars, from Wales, withdrew from the competition earlier this week, meaning Cross will receive a bye to the first round on February 18 or 19 when they will meet the winners of York Acorn against Norland Sharks.
The West Hull game will provide Cross with a stern test as they continue to build towards the start of the new National Conference summer season in March.
