Sharks appeal for RL supporters to rally round
Shaw Cross Sharks are appealing to rugby league fans from across West Yorkshire to turn up to tomorrow’s game in support of injured player Ryan Glynn.
The Sharks host Stanningley in National Conference League Division Two (kick off 2.30pm) and tomorrow will mark the start of fundraising events for Glynn, who suffered a broken neck in last week’s game at Elland.
Shaw Cross have been overwhelmed by the level of support they have received from well wishes and a number of signed shirts and other memorabilia have already been donated to auction off.
Super League players and clubs are among those to have sent their best wishes to Glynn.
