Trojans extend winning run and maintain advantage at top of table
Thornhill haven’t lost since the opening day of the season and lead the table from Lock Lane and Leigh Miners.
The Trojans led 30 at half-time and Pilkington had little answer to their attacking flair as the home side ran in nine tries, all of which were converted by Joel Gibson.

Hide AdGeorge Woodcock and Liam Morley crossed for a brace apiece, while Gibson also added a try for a personal haul of 22 points.
George Scott, Declan Tomlinson, Anthony Harrison and Danny Ratcliffe were the other Thornhill scorers as they completed a ninth win of the season.
Thornhill have no game this weekend but return to action with a trip to second-bottom Bradford Dudley Hill on June 30.
Dewsbury Moor Maroons suffered a 22-10 defeat in their top of the table clash against Stanningley.

Hide AdMoor remain second in Division Two four points behind Stanningley but have the chance to close the gap when they meet Drighlington in their game in hand tomorrow night (Wednesday).
Moor were chasing a fifth straight league win and made an excellent start with Tom Harrington scoring in the first minute and Aiden Ineson converting.
Stanningley fought back to lead 18-6 at half-time with tries from Ben Selby, Steve Walton and Liam Copland, who also added three goals.
Copland extended the lead with a 51st minute penalty but Sam Thornton hit back with Moor’s second try.

Hide AdMoor’s efforts proved in vain as Copland went on to seal Stanningley’s 10th straight win with a last minute penalty.
Moor face a key game on June 30 as they visit third place Crosfields.
Dewsbury Celtic were not in action last week and are sixth in Division Three with 12 points from 11 matches and they visit Oldham St Annes this Saturday.
Dewsbury Moor A team won their top of the table clash against Underbank Rangers 44-26 to move level on 10 points with the Yorkshire Men’s League Alliance Division Two leaders.
