Super Rams stun Halifax

Dewsbury Rams produced a wonderful display to send Halifax crashing out of the Kingstone Press Championship play-offs last Sunday.

The Rams recorded a superb 25-0 win at The Shay to move within 80 minutes of a place in the Championship Grand Final, with a trip to Leigh Centurions standing in their way.

Anthony Thackeray, shortlisted for the Championship player of the season, bagged a brace of tries, with Sam Wood and Tommy Gallagher also crossing.

Tom Hemingway landed three goals, with Kieran Hyde kicking a penalty and a drop goal as the Rams celebrated a memorable win.
