Sharks U10s shine – tries galore for U9s

Shaw Cross Sharks Under-10s were expecting their toughest game this season at Hunslet Warriors.

The Sharks team produced a great effort against very strong opposition.

Backs Brad Llewellyn, Josh Walker and Robson Sutcliffe had great ideas but testament to the Warriors they were kept quiet. Kobe Poching then worked some magic and sent the ball out wide to Kian Lister who still had a lot to do but managed to score a fine try.

After the break Tyler Butterfield and Jack Audsley Clay linked well to gain valuable yards before Harry Webster crashed onto the ball, evaded several tacklers to score a great try in the corner. The proud coaching staff gave the MoM award to the team.

Shaw Cross Sharks Under-9s played a friendly at Upton and had a great time running in 10 tries.

Kian Dickens ran, passed and tackled with enthusiasm to win MoM and parents’ MoM.
