Scott agrees to stay at Rams

Dewsbury Rams have this afternoon (Thursday) confirmed that long serving winger Greg Scott will remain at the club in 2015 after agreeing a new deal.

Scott joined the club at the start of the 2012 season from Widnes Vikings and has made 57 appearances for the Rams.

The 23-year-old was in superb form this year before suffering a season-ending knee injury suffered in the match at Barrow Raiders.

Rams coach Glenn Morrison is confident Scott will return better than before, saying: “Greg’s been really unlucky with his injury, because before he was ruled out he was doing an outstanding job of getting us on the front foot from out the back.

“He’s strong as anyone you’ll see out there and can carry players on his back for 20 yards.

“In the two years I’ve been here he’s kicked right on and is really showing his worth, so I’m extremely happy to be able to keep him on board for 2015.”
