Rams face long midweek trip for re-arranged game
The Round Two match, which was originally scheduled to take place at Derwent Park on Sunday February 22, will now be played on Wednesday March 18, with a 7.30pm kick-off.
It promises to be a gruelling week for Glenn Morrison’s men as they travel to Halifax on Sunday March 15, with the Workington trip coming just three days later.

Hide AdThe following weekend sees the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup fourth round, when Championship teams enter the competition.
The fourth round draw, involving all 12 Championship teams and the 12 winners of this weekend’s third round matches, takes place next Tuesday (March 10) between 6.30pm and 6.45pm at the Provident Stadium, Bradford.
Supporters over 18 attending Sunday’s home game against Whitehaven will receive a voucher for a free bottle of Kingstone Press Cider if they arrive before 1.45pm.
Vouchers will be available from the club reception and redeemable inside the ground upon entry.

Hide AdThe deal comes on the back of a promotion at the Rams opening game against Sheffield Eagles, which attracted a 1,300-plus crowd, over 50 per cent up on last season’s corresponding fixture.
Rams chairman Mark Sawyer said: “I’m confident that the Whitehaven match will prove successful in terms of attendance and we are pleased to be able to offer another small incentive to supporters.
