Rams explore possibility of running reserve team
The Rams withdrew their second string a number of years ago but with finances much improved off the field and the chance of entering a stronger reserve grade competition, there is a real possibility of the plans going ahead.
Rams long-standing chairman Mark Sawyer explained: “I can confirm that we have been exploring this option for a number of months.

The new Kingstone Press Championship fixtures will be released at 9pm this Sunday, when a new addition, Summer Bash will be introduced, with one full round of games set to be played in Blackpool, similar to Super League’s Magic Weekend.
Meanwhile, the Rams have announced their matchday admission prices for 2015.
South Stand terracing prices will be £15 for adults, £10 concessions and £2 under-16s.

However, Mr Sawyer is keen to point out the value of buying a season ticket.
The chairman added: “Season tickets represent the best value and, for the first time, the club is offering supporters the opportunity to pay in instalments.”
South Stand season tickets are £140 adults and £95 concessions, while it is £155 adults and £110 concessions to sit in the North Stand.
In a terrific gesture by the Rams, to entice younger supporters to games, under-16s season tickets will be free.
Supporters wishing to pay by monthly instalments must register before October 31.
