Dewsbury visit the Loverugbyleague, com Stadium, Mount Pleasant, for their popular Boxing Day showdown with Batley Bulldogs and the two home friendlies will provide coach Glenn Morrison further opportunity to look at his squad ahead of the new season.

Morrison said: “The recruitment process has been outstanding so far and I’m really pleased with how everything has gone.

“We haven’t panic bought – we’ve brought in players who we think will improve the squad and help us improve as a whole from last year.

“We’re really happy with where we are and excited for next year.”

Morrison already has 30 players signed up for 2015 but revealed that he is still receiving interest from players and agents eager for an opportunity to join Dewsbury.

The coach added: “This week I’ve had an international player calling me up and begging me to give him a chance to come on board.

“The way we do things here is clearly being noticed and people want to be a part of that. I guess it means that myself and the rest of the coaching staff are doing something right.”
