Dewsbury have won all three games on the road this time and lie fourth in the Kingstone Press table after five matches.

In contrast Barrow have lost all five games at Championship level since their promotion last year, although Morrison knows the trip to Cumbria will be tough.

Morrison said: “ We’ve picked up three wins from three away from home and this will be another test and the first time we’ve really had to travel.

“It’s an advantage the Cumbrian teams have when sides are travelling up, especially early in the season with the weather but we have to make sure we are professional.

“Everyone wants to get off the mark and the longer you go without a win, the harder you fight and we know Barrow will come out fighting.”

Prop Ryan Hepworth broke a hand in last week’s 23-18 win at Swinton and he will be out for around a month, while a couple of other players picked up knocks.

Morrison added: “A few of the boys that haven’t featured so far will get their chance.

“I’ve said all along that when a chance comes along its important you take it and stop others getting that jersey off you.

“It’s hard to change a winning team and the players have had to bide their time but a couple of injuries means some boys will get the chance to step up as others did.”

Austin Buchanan and Ben Jones are around three weeks off full fitness and will also be staking claims for a first team spot shortly.
