Lockwood claims awards treble

JAMES Lockwood claimed three awards at Dewsbury Rams’ presentation evening last Friday.

Lockwood was named first team players’ player of the year and first team player of the year, while also picking up the forward of the year award.

Austin Buchanan was the Rams’ back of the year and Luke Blake took man of steel.

The reserves players’ player of the year was Dean Cawthron while the reserves’ player of the year was Sam Wright

The Dewsbury Rams Supporters Club voted Dominic Bramabani as their player of the year, in second place was Rob Spicer and third was Blake.

There were also supporters awards for the Reserves Under-23 side where Derrell Olpherts topped the voting. The runner-up was Danny Flowers followed by Chris Green.

Clubman of the year was the hard-working Bob Diskin who voluntarily painted the dressing rooms and cleans them every week.
