Douglas impresses on Rams debut
Dewsbury coach Glenn Morrison praised new comer forward Brandon Douglas for his display on debut in last week's cup win over Newcastle Thunder having joined from Castleford Tigers to help ease the Rams' injury crisis.
Paul Sykes had a hand in four of Dewsbury’s six tries and also landed six goals from seven attempts in a fine all-round display, while winger Alex Brown was named man-of-the-match in only his second game for the Rams.
Lewis Fairhurst also figured for Dewsbury on dual registration from partner club Hemel Stags.

Hide AdMorrison said: “We brought Brandon in from Castleford and he throws his body about.
“Paul Sykes also took control during the first half but I thought everybody stood up well.
“I was glad that Alex Brown got the man of the match, as usually when wingers don’t score a try they don’t get the recognition they deserve in other areas, but this is what we have brought him in for.”
