confidence is high as rams take on broncos

The Rams face a tough trip to London Broncos on Sunday with the sides level on 10 points, along with Halifax and Featherstone.

Morrison believes his side are yet to show their true capabilities and with key players on the verge of returning, he is confident of kicking on in the second half of the season.

Morrison said: “I don’t think there will be many sides looking at the calendar and saying they expect to take two points from London away.

“They are full-time and are in good form and we know it will be tough but we are not going there to make up the numbers.

“It is one game before halfway and it would be nice to come away with the points and cement our place in the top five.”

Ryan Fieldhouse and Stephen Nash are around two weeks away from returning to action following long-term lay-offs, while Greg Scott made his long awaited return from a knee injury in Tuesday’s reserve team game.

Brett Seymour also featured in that match, following his move from Whitehaven and could come into the reckoning for Sunday’s trip to the capital.

Rob Spicer and Tom Heingway are available after they were rested for last week’s Challenge Cup victory over Hunslet Hawks.

Kieran Hyde produced a man-of-the-match display in the 31-16 win at Hunslet and Morrison said: “I’m really pleased for Kieran, who always puts the team first.

“He is prepared to play in a number of different positions and even when he was left out, although disappointed, he understood it was the best for the team.”
