Batley produced a stunning victory over Doncaster last Sunday to avoid relegation from the Championship and the win was enough to see the Bulldogs grab eighth spot.

Dewsbury Rams will entertain Workington Town after finishing the regular season in sixth place.

The losers of these two games will be eliminated.

League leaders Leigh Centurions will begin their quest for the Championship title with a home play-off against Doncaster, while Featherstone Rovers host Halifax in a qualifying play-off.

Rovers sealed second spot with a late victory over Keighley that also saw the Cougars relegated to the new League One.

The winners of Leigh v Doncaster and Featherstone v Halifax will have a bye in Week Two of the play-offs, while the losers will be at home to the winners of the two elimination play-offs featuring the teams that finished fifth to eight.
