Tony Tonks and Ryan Hepworth sustained knee injuries in Sunday’s last-gasp 21-20 defeat at Featherstone Rovers, while two other players suffered head knocks that were due to be assessed last night, Wednesday.

The Rams travel to high flying London Broncos on Saturday (ko 3pm), then host Bradford Bulls in the Challenge Cup next Friday before home Easter fixtures against league leaders Batley Bulldogs and a third full-time side in Sheffield Eagles

Morrison said: “We were pretty busted at the end of the Featherstone game and didn’t do much in training on Monday.

“We beat London four times last season and have already beaten them in a pre-season game this time, so we know we are capable, but we also know that if we aren’t on our game, they can beat us, as they did when it mattered in last season’s semi-final.”

Full-back Josh Guzdek has been in terrific early season form and his first minute try against Featherstone last week leaves him top of the Championship scoring charts with six after the opening five rounds of matches.

London were dealt their own blow this week when former NRL player Nathan Stapleton was ruled out for the season having undergone ACL reconstruction after suffering ligament damage.
