Breaking news: Rams to remain in Championship
DEWSBURY Rams will remain in the Co-operative Championship next season after Barrow Raiders were deducted 29 points for breaches of Rugby Football League (RFL) operational rules.
A tribunal met yesterday evening and found Barrow guilty of a number of breaches of rules and they will now be relegated to Championship One instead of the Rams.
Barrow chairman Des Johnson has also been banned from any involvement in the game for eight years.
