Robinson lands hat-trick to help Wheelwright finish undefeated

A MATTY Robinson hat-trick helped Yorkshire Amateur League Division Five champions Wheelwright beat Alwoodley Thirds 6-1 to see them go through the league campaign undefeated.

it is a terrific effort from Wheelwright, who finish15 points clear of second-placed Alwoodley with 18 wins from 20 games.

They have scored 92 goals and conceded just 23 on their way to the title.

Robinson led the way with his treble while the hosts also had strikes from Lee Whitaker, Chris Kemp and Johnny Harrison.

Batelians are ninth in Senior B Division after a 4-0 reverse at North East Leeds while Beeston OB Reserves are still on track for the Division Four title after a 7-2 home win over Leeds City Reserves.

Second-placed Beeston are three points behind leaders Norristhorpe with two games still to play.
