Rimmington targets six wins for Liversedge survival
Manager Jonathan Rimmington has stopped short of calling the game ‘must win’ but believes his side are still capable of pulling clear of danger.
Rimmington said: “I think you could see a team in the low 30s points staying up this season.

“Brigg have 11 matches left and are in a similar position, where we still have 18 games remaining and six wins may well be enough to see us stay up.
“We know it will be tough, facing a crazy run of games, but this could play into our favour.”
“I am also looking at bringing in a couple of exciting players to the club in the next couple of weeks.”

Liversedge have not played at home for 117 days - dating back to October 31 - when they beat Retford United 4-3.
Last Saturday’s game against Armthorpe Welfare was postponed at the 11th hour, with players and officials of both clubs at the ground, as the referee deemed the playing surface at Clayborn too dangerous.
Rimmington added: “Our groundsman Tinker (Andy Taylor) has worked hard on the pitch but there are just two areas which are like jelly and it is dangerous.
“It is not the pitch itself but an area about three foot under the surface, where water can’t drain away and it is causing the ground to move.”
