Powerful hitting sends Woodlands to T20 semi
Woodlands booked their place in the Bradford League’s Dyson Energy Services Twenty20 Cup semi-final with a 62-run victory over Lightcliffe on Tuesday.
Duncan Snell led the way as he blazed 94 not out from just 47 balls, including seven sixes.
Simon Mason (44) and Pieter Swanepoel (30) chipped in with useful contributions before Sarfraz Ahmed provided late fireworks, smashing five sixes on his way to 41 not out from just 11 balls as Woodlands posted 226-4 from their 20 overs.

Hide AdLightcliffe made 164-8 in reply as Elliot Richardson claimed 3-36 and Woodlands will entertain Hanging Heaton in the semi-finals, with the final to take place under floodlights at Bradford & Bingley on Thursday August 14.
