Pearson second

ANDREW Pearson just missed out on a hat-trick of victories in the Leeds Half Marathon, when he was beaten into second place by Tsegezeab Woldemickael last Sunday.

Pearson, who hails from Batley and now lives in Tingley, finished the 13.1 mile course in 68 minutes and 42 seconds, compared in his winning time of 65.54 last year.

Despite that he was still nearly a mile and six minutes ahead of the third placed finisher A May (74-55).
